Jivabhai Ambalal Patel, a well-known meteorologist of Gujarat, has given an update on the forecast of rain in Gujarat during the next seven days. He said that meanwhile there are signs of rain. Mainly talking about the fourth day, the speed of rain will increase in North Gujarat. However, moderate rainfall can be seen here.

Forecasting rain in South Gujarat, he said that except Vadodara, Bharuch, Chotaudeparu, Narmada, light to moderate rain is likely in most parts of South Gujarat.

Jivabhai Ambalal Patel said that in coastal areas of Saurashtra, moderate rain is likely in Porbandar, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Botad, Diu, Dwarka, Gir Somnath. Moderate rain is likely during the next five days. While Kutch is likely to remain isolated during two days and thereafter it is expected to remain dry.

There is a possibility of heavy rain on the fourth day i.e. September 8. Meanwhile, there is a possibility of heavy rain in some areas of South Gujarat. In which there is a possibility of heavy rain in Surat, Dang, Navsari, Valsadi, Tapi, Daman.

Talking about Ahmedabad city, there is no chance of rain for the next two-three days. While there is a possibility of normal rain on 8th. Similar situation will be seen in Gandhinagar also.

The significant thing is that if we look at the average rainfall in Gujarat so far, the lowest rainfall in the state has been recorded in Central East Gujarat. Central East Gujarat has received 66.19 percent rainfall.

North Gujarat has received an average of 67.96 percent rainfall. Kutch has recorded an average of 136.19 percent rainfall. Saurashtra has recorded an average of 110.10 percent rainfall.
