What is the purpose of Pradhan Mantri Shouchalaya sahay  Yojana?

• To rid India's urban and rural areas of the evil practice of open defecation,
• All the beneficiaries will get Rs. 12,000 to provide financial assistance,
• By preventing house mothers and sisters from defecating in the open,

Eligibility 

• To apply for toilet assistance scheme, if the applicant can be a resident of any country, his annual income should not exceed Rs.1,50,000.
• If a person is a resident of an urban area, his annual financial benefit is Rs. 60000.
• Bank account has to be linked with Aadhaar card etc.

How To Apply Online

Step 1. To apply for Toilet Assistance Scheme, you first need to visit the home page of its official website.

Step-2. After coming back to the house page, you will get an option to 'Apply' which you have to click on,

How To Offline Application Process

• In toilet assistance scheme, to use offline, you have to visit your panchayat member first
• From there you have to submit the application form
• After receiving the application form, you have to fill the application form carefully
• Self-attested photocopies of all required documents should be attached with the application form
