How To Apply For Pan Card : Online Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has officially launched Aadhaar Card Based e-KYC Seva (Aadhaar Based E-KYC Service for Instant PAN) on Thursday 28 May 2020. After the launch of this service, now it is very easy to get pan card, or simply say now you will get your pan number in just 10 minutes and that too online at home. In Union Budget 2020, Finance Minister Shri Nirmala Sitharaman announced the immediate launch of Apply for PAN facility soon. If you have an Aadhaar card and the mobile number is registered in the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) database, you can easily avail this facility.

CBDT has given detailed information about this. This scheme is named e-PAN. After the launch of this facility, now you can get your electronic PAN number for free without any fee. The scheme was first launched on a pilot basis on 12 February 2020 by the Income Tax Department, but now after the approval of the Finance Ministry, it has been rolled out for all.

What is PAN Card?

STEP 2: After clicking on the link you have to fill the application form.

In Application Type you have to select what is applicable. And what is applicable in the category has to be selected. If you are applying for pan card for one person then select Individual.

STEP 3: After filling the Application Form you will get a Token number which you have to save and keep through which you can further login by clicking on Registered User as shown in Step 1 and login again.

Then click Continue With Application Form.

STEP 4: Now you can create PAN CARD in three ways here. You have to select how you want to apply for PAN card.

1) Submit Digitally Through E-Kyc and E-sign

If you select this option then you don’t need to upload any document.

But you need to have mobile number link with Aadhaar card.

And you will find the same details and photo in the Aadhaar card in the PAN card.

2) Submit Scan Images Through E-sign

By selecting this option you have to upload passport size photo, signature and any document for proof.

In this process also you need to have mobile number link with Aadhaar card. Only then you can create pan card online.

3) Forward Application Documents Physically

In this process you have to fill the form and you have to print the form and take the documents with you and go to the nearest center and submit the form.

STEP 9: After PAYMENT you have to click on Authenticate for Aadhaar Card and OTP will be sent to the mobile number in your Aadhaar Card.

STEP 10: After entering the OTP click on Continue With eSign.

After that you have to enter the Aadhaar card number here which again OTP will come in your Aadhaar register mobile. And after clicking on CONFIRM, the online application process for your PAN card will be completed here.
