Saraswati Sadhana Yojana 2023 Free cycle scheme: In this scheme BPL of respective caste. 9th grade girls of families whose village does not have high school facilities are given bicycle assistance to travel up and down from their village to another village for studies.

The Saraswati Sadhana Cycle Yojana is a scheme launched by the Gujarat government to motivate the girls of the state to study. The benefit of this scheme will be given to girls who continue their studies beyond 8th and take admission in 9th standard and they belong to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe category. Under this Gujarat Saraswati Sadhana Yojana, only those female students will be given bicycles under this scheme.

What is Saraswati Sadhana Yojana?

Under Saraswati Sadhana Yojana Scheduled Caste girls studying in Class 9 in Gujarat are gifted absolutely free bicycle under "Saraswati Sadhana" Yojana. This scheme has been started due to the fact that many girls studying in Gujarat find it difficult to even walk due to their school being far away from their homes.

Objective Of Saraswati Sadhana Yojana

• Girls studying in class 9 from Scheduled Caste families are gifted a bicycle. So this bicycle is given because some girls come from remote and distant areas to come to their school, then they have difficulties in walking, so bicycles are given for that purpose. Also these bicycles are provided free of charge. So this is the main purpose of the government.

Who benefits from Free Cycle Scheme?

Student should be studying in class 9th.

The student should belong to Scheduled Caste (SC).

Annual family income should not exceed 6,00,000/- at rural level and urban level.

How to Apply Saraswati Sadhana Yojana 2023 ?

To avail the benefit of cycle assistance the following should be applied:

• The Saraswati Sadhana Yojana form has to be filled by the school.
• The online form of this scheme can be filled through the school.
• The school has to apply online through "Digital Gujarat Portal".
• After that the application is approved by the director office.
• Students do not have to process anything in this scheme.
• All the process has to be done by the school.
