Students with 50% or more marks in Std. 12 for all undergraduate level courses and 50% or more marks in undergraduate courses for postgraduate courses can apply and admission will be given on a merit basis.

About Samras Chatraya Society

The Gujarat government established the "Gujarat Samras Chhatralaya Society" in September 2016 under the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment.

The society will act as an institutional arrangement at the district level to provide facilities to students of all castes - SC / ST / OBC / EBC.

All castes under one roof is a our main motto.

The aim of Samaras hostels is to create "New India" with great compatibility, harmony and participation among all castes and to create an ideal community in the society.

Separate quota for backward among persons with disabilities, widow's children, orphans and SC, ST OBC community.

Lodging, boarding and other necessary facilities (eg Yoga, Computer Lab, Library) are available free of cost to all undergraduate and postgraduate students.

In future, the Government of Gujarat is planning to set up new Samaras hostels at a prominent place at the district location in Gujarat.
