How to Get A Digital Voters ID Card:- As per the instructions of the Election Commission, in order to celebrate the National Voters' Day-2021, the emphasis has been laid on the dissemination of various technological initiatives implemented by the Commission to provide various services to the voters during the elections, especially during the Koro epidemic. For this, the Election Commission has declared "National Voters' Day" in the state In addition to the activities undertaken in the past under normal circumstances, the following different activities are suggested in connection with the celebration.

How to Get A Digital Voters ID Card:-

Who Are Eligible For E-epic? 

- All general Voters who have valid EPIC

- 25th to 31st Jan 2021: All new electors registered

- during special summary revision 2020

- 1st Feb 2021 onwards: All General electors

- It will be a non-editable secure portable document format (PDF) version of the EPIC (approx. 250 KB) which can be downloaded on mobile or in a self-printable form on the computer. A voter can thus store the card on his mobile, upload it on Digi locker or print it and self-laminate it. This is in addition to PVC EPIC being issued for fresh registration.

- Alternate and faster mode of obtaining Electoral Photo Identity Card in a digital format

- Equally valid as a proof of document for voter identification

- Can be printed at the convenience of the voter and can bring it as proof during polling

- Self-service model

MODALITIES

- All new registrations with unique mobile numbers to be given

digital voter card in addition to PVC EPIC

- Existing electors with a unique mobile number: can download

after authentication

- Electors without unique mobile number can get facial

recognition KYC, enter the mobile number, and get

authentication for downloads

LAUNCH ON 25TH JANUARY 2021

- 10 million target electors

- Nationwide 10,51,714 polling stations to hold a function

- 5 electors from each polling station to be encouraged to apply for digital ID

- 4.5 million electors with unique mobile number to be sent SM Sfor download

- Epicometer (Total download): will be live on ECI website

How to download digital voter ID cards

- Log on to https://voterportal.eci.gov.in/ or https://nvsp.in/Account/Login

- If you do not have an account, then create an account through your mobile number or email ID.

- If you already have an account, then log in and click on the option of download E-EPIC.

- The download facility will be available from 11.14 am onwards on January 25.

- Other identity proofs like the Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving license are already available in digital format. This will be the first time that the government will issue voter identity cards in digital formats.
