Battery Operated Two Wheelers Scheme 2020-21:- Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has announced an aid scheme to encourage the use of battery-powered two-wheelers in the cities and towns of the state to curb air pollution from vehicles. Under this assistance scheme, the government will provide assistance of Rs 12,000 to students studying from Std-9 to college in the state to purchase a battery-powered two-wheeler. The target is to provide a subsidy to 10,000 vehicles.

Who can apply?

In Gujarat state schools, Std. 8 to 12 and studying in college Student. Only one application per student is required.

Dealers of authorized manufacturers by Gedda and Geddah's website geda.gujarat.gov.in

What are the details to be provided with the application?

1. Bonafide Certificate, (the Year 2020-21) - Original or Scanned Copy Or a copy of a self-certified previous year's mark sheet

2. Copy of self-certified student's Aadhaar card

3. Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / given by the competent officer of the student Self-certified copy of Certificate of Disability / Poor / Extremely Poor / Non-Reserved Class Economic Backwardness

4. Self-certified copy of driving license (for battery-operated high-speed vehicles).

Who has to submit the application form?

By selecting the application form manufacturer and model dated December 31, 2020 Dealers of selected manufacturers have to be submitted to the GADA office.

Priority standards

The coefficient of the examination obtained in the next year, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Women, Disabled, Socio-Economic Survey declared poor, ultra-poor, and non-reserved class economically backward students

How much subsidy is available from the state government in this regard?

Rs. 12,000 / - per vehicle

How to get the benefit of subsidy?

The vehicle will be credited to the bank account of the eligible student by DADA as per the terms of the scheme after purchase.
