Gujarat Government declared unlock 5.0 Guidelines 2020:- Aiming to control the effects of COVID-19 across the country, The Disaster Pursuant to the powers received from the Management Act, 2005, by the order of the Union Home Ministry dated 24/03/2020, all services except essential services have been suspended in the entire country from 25/03/2020 for 21 days. Subsequently, this period was extended till 30/09/2020 by the order of the Union Home Ministry from time to time and some activities were started in phases.

Considering the effects of coVID-19 across the country, as per the directions of the National Disaster Management Authority, the lockdown period in the containment zone has been extended till 31/10/2020 by the order of the Union Home Ministry dated 30/09/2020. And in areas other than the containment zone, orders have been issued to continue the prescribed activities as per the guidelines.
Therefore, as per the order of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs dated 30/09/2020, the period of Lockdown is extended from 01/10/2020 to 24.00 hrs. It is decided to continue the prescribed activity as per the guidelines.
Lockdown may not be declared locally at the local level (district / subdivision / city) without prior consultation with the Central Government. So if there is a need for lockdown at the local level, a detailed proposal will have to be sent to the Home Department of the State Government for the prior approval of the Central Government. Lockdown can be declared at the local level after getting the approval of the central government.
In addition, the following activities are allowed subject to following the guidelines/guidelines of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India regarding Social Distance and Face Cover.
