What's new Update 2022
• You can now create and share a link for your WhatsApp call from the Calls tab
• Now only admins will be notified when you leave a group
• Group admins can now delete others’ messages for everyone. All participants can see who deleted it.
• See link previews for links shared via Status.
• You can now easily react to a Status post using Status Reactions.
New Features
Apart from the communities feature, the instant messaging platform is also rolling out new features such as create-in-chat polls, 32-person video calling, groups with up to 1024 users. WhatsApp stated that features such as large file sharing and admin delete features will come in handy for the Communities features.
In its official press release, Meta said that it has been working with over 50 companies across 15 countries to build communities to meet their needs. The company said that it was getting positive feedback from the organisations on its new tools.
